Once completed, you’ll be equipped with a bicycle, a safety helmet, and accompanied by an armed ranger ensuring a safe and immersive wildlife encounter as we embark on our cycling adventure through the park.

Second Stop: Ngongongare Plains to Miniserengeti

Our journey continues through Ngongongare plains, where our support vehicle and ranger escort us. Here, we pause at the Mini Serengeti, fondly referred to as ‘Serengeti Ndogo’ in Swahili. This grassland, located around 500 meters north of Ngongongare Gate, teems with diverse wildlife, including giraffes, Cape buffalo, elephants, zebras, antelopes, warthogs, black and white colobus monkeys, and more. Its rich fauna justifies its apt moniker.

Third Stop: Mount Meru Trek Starting Point

Having pedaled 20 kilometers to the Mount Meru climbers starting point, we conclude our day tour. Here, a brief pause for refreshments allows us to mingle with Mount Meru climbers gearing up for their trekking endeavor. Following this break, a vehicle transfer awaits, leading us to our next and final destination, Lake Momella.
